Tata Capital Ltd, a non-banking financial company, saw its shares list 1.22% higher at ₹330 on both the BSE and NSE, against an issue price of ₹326. The stock later climbed to ₹332, marking a 1.84% gain during morning trade. The company's market valuation reached ₹1,38,658.65 crore.

The IPO, fully subscribed at 1.95 times, raised ₹15,512 crore—making it the largest share sale this year. The offer comprised 47.58 crore shares, including a fresh issue of 21 crore equity shares and an OFS of 26.58 crore shares. Proceeds will bolster Tier-1 capital to meet future lending requirements.

This listing aligns with RBI mandates for upper-layer NBFCs, requiring public listings within three years of classification. Tata Capital, designated as such in September 2022, offers over 25 lending products. The debut follows Tata Technologies' November 2023 listing, underscoring the group's strategic capital market moves.
